WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF AN ENERGY AUDIT

Our experience for medium-to-larger energy users is that when you prepare an energy audit, energy cost savings can be significant.

Benefits of an energy audit as per the Australian Standard with Websters Group include:

Access to Australian-leading expertise in energy efficiency

Address strategic risks, fix problem areas and identify inefficiency

Achieve deep reductions in energy usage (target 15% to 35%)

Low audit costs
($2,650 + GST per site)

REAL SITE MEASUREMENTS MEAN REAL SAVINGS

Our audits use portable smart metering and data logging extensively to bring
engineering models together with real world data.

Our standard cost for this valuable methodology is $2,650 + GST

*Our audits follow the relevant Australian Standard (AS/NZS 3598.2:2014) with pricing presented above for a Type 1 audit (including data logging as standard)

As part of our audit methodology, we install multiple data loggers during the audit of your site. Our clients generally obtain an of average fifteen data loggers installed and one months worth of data obtained during our audit process. With over 100 precision data loggers in our fleet, we are able to leverage the benefits of temporary monitoring so deeper insights can be captured around facility and equipment operation.

DATA LOGGING EQUIPMENT

THERMAL IMAGING TO HIGHLIGHT PROBLEM AREAS

Given electrical energy is often lost as heat, thermal imaging is an important part of the site review process. Identification of air flows, pipe insulation and cold storage operations are a few important applications.

Understanding power drawn from various areas and pieces of equipment is key to understanding peak demand charges. We use licensed electricians to review each major electrical load in the distribution or main switch board(s). Breaking down site usage to this level helps unlock really important facts about peak demand charges at your site. *An allowance of up to 7 hours with a licenced electrician onsite is included in standard pricing (extra investigation for complex sites is charged at $75/hour + GST)

REVIEWING PEAK DEMAND COSTS

DETAILED ENERGY MODELLING

Once we have one month of data from logging equipment and detailed measurements from our electrician during operation for each motor, compressor or key end use, we breakdown energy use and costs by area or equipment type in an Energy End Use Breakdown.
